Alexander Faribault was not only the founder and namesake of Faribault, he was also considered one of the four original founders of Hastings MN which was incorporated in 1853. This was two years before Faribault. Nobody knew what the other three possible names Hastings could have been but if one of them was Faribault....who would we be today?
