Rotary Wednesday July 22nd, 2026
 
We sang You are my Sunshine- which when all the verses are included, it takes a bit of a dark turn- but fun was had and it caused lots of laughter.
Kymn’s granddaughter Nora was visiting the club.
Annika, our speaker from the CAC was visiting as well.
Jeanne from the Northfield Rotary was also visiting.
Warm Our Community has started to meet. If you are interested, please reach out to Laura.
Rotarian of the Year is coming soon. Laura will be the chair of the selection committee this year.
Youth Protection Officer opportunity is available if anyone is interested.

Chad gave a charitable gambling update- Kymn motioned, Becky seconded- Volume of gambling was much lower, we are down $11,000. We are still at $94,000 in profit for the year, which is excellent!
Josh shared with the club he will likely be leaving due to a promotion at work.
Mark shared with the club about sponsoring breakfast for teachers on August 18th. It’s $150 and we will use our happy dollars to fund this.
 
Fellowship-
Murray congratulated Greg on the Red Sox doing well.
Dick Huston talked about an article about someone using an iron lung. He also met someone at the dentist who was from Cambodia. She told her about what the Rotary has done in Cambodia. He shared our PowerPoint with her and she says thank you to the club.
Greg thanked Rod for his great presentation last week.
Kymn was excited to share her day with her granddaughter. George is in the hospital with an infection on his arm.
Our friend Rotarian Jeanne Wakely from Northfield shared that she was excited to be visiting the club.
Becky Ford talked about Runway Revival is coming up in August 13th 6:30pm.
