- Fellowship: lead by George Wickstrom - Rotarians were asked questions at each table about some US History. If Rotarians got the question wrong, they were asked to donate $1 and if they got it right, George donated $5 today.
- George Wickstrom first welcomed our guests Sara Coulter and Daisey Sanchez. They were the presenters for today’s meeting.
- Laura Bock got the first question right at table #1.
- Murray Hanson got the second question right at table #2 with the help of a multiple-choice option.
- Table #3 did not get the answer correct. Becky Ford spoke from this table and welcomed our guests Sara and Daisey.
- Table #4 did not get the answer correct. Scott Olson spoke from this table and mentioned his daughter was having surgery today so he wanted her in everyone’s thoughts and prayers. Scott also mentioned that he would be leaving Our Savior’s Church after February 9th and his last Rotary meeting will be February 12th. He will be retiring March 1st. He expressed gratefulness to the Faribault Rotary Club and was thankful for everyone. George congratulated him and spoke of what a great person Scott is.
- Theresa spoke from the back table – she been busy lately so was happy to be there today – some fun things lately she went to Africa and now has one more grandchild whom was adopted. She is very thankful for that.
- Brandon talked about his sons love for hockey and shared a story about the two of them going skating outside the day prior at the Jefferson outdoor rink. He said they lasted only a couple minutes due to how cold it was!
