Howdy FRYS Membership,

A day late and a dollar short for today's Membership Memo after delivering the results to the club yesterday, but nevertheless, here they are for those that were MIA yesterday.
September was the start of the new fiscal 2026/2027 year for FRYS, and it kicked off with a solid month.

E-tabs jumped to a four-month high in revenue of $125K, the largest since May 2026’s $150K. Unfortunately, the gross profit margin plummeted to 13.4% (prior year average = 15.7%), leading to gross profits of $17K.
Paper tab sales were nearly identical month-over-month at $74K; however, the gross profit margin expanded to 21.1% from August’s 16.6%, leading to gross profits of $16K compared to $12K, respectively.
Stability also followed to Bingo, posting sales of $19K against August’s $18K. Gross profits were slightly stronger at $5K vs. $4K, respectively.

Overall, totally monthly sales of $220K were up ~10% / $20K from last year’s first month September 2025’s $200K. Due to softer margins, net income declined to $14K in September 2026 compared to 2025’s $18K, but that’s nothing other than the probabilities of gambling at play - sometimes the house performs better, and other times the house takes it on the chops.

Bigger point: if FRYS is able to continue to improve monthly sales year-over-year by 10%, the organization will be in a great place for charitable giving once again!
Have a good one,
