Good Day FRYS, What a timely membership memo as we give thanks with friends and family, but before we do that, it is time to give thanks in celebration of new charitable gambling records, and one of them is the most important record of them all! E-tabs exploded higher in October, posting a 29% increase from September, totaling $116K in sales. Not only did sales rise but also margins improved to 19.7% from 17.8%, delivering Youth Services $23K in gross profits, aka money in the bank. Even more impressive than the 29% increase in e-tabs sales was the pop in papers tab of a 56% increase in October with sales touching $93K, the highest total since March. Margins, while down month-over-over month at 18.2% vs. 19.1%, were powerful enough to deliver a 49% increase in gross profits to $17K. Just like on Thanksgiving, there are some appetizers to provide some satiation to one’s hunger, that’s exactly what those first two data sets were because its time to turn our attention to the main feast of mashed potatoes, stuffing, and of course the turkey. Gamblers mashed the dotters at Boxers in October as we will mash cranberries tomorrow with Boxers’ Bingo setting a new record of $22K in sales; but wait, there’s more! Not only did sales hit a new record but also the gross profit margin, and therefore gross profits of $7K. And in honor of Gladiator II’s release:  Quick story you all. A couple nights ago I was at the charitable gambling city board meeting and the other organizations around Faribault were astounded with the Bingo results FRYS has produced. Some groups have tried to host Bingo and had no luck in recruiting players. Safe to say Boxers Bingo is the cream of the crop in town, which is a wonderful achievement given that Bingo margins are usually one of the strongest but also it pulls in demand for the other games FRYS has to play for a circular profit machine that feeds on itself - yum yum. All of that incredible news culminates in the establishment of a record in the most important figure of them all: monthly net profit. FRYS earnings hit an incredible $26K for the month of October, topping the prior record of $24K set in June 2024. Before we give thanks tomorrow, it's time to give thanks for the people – Rotarians, team members at Boxers and the gamblers - that makes such production, $26K!!!, possible. Boxers has become a preeminent establishment for charitable gambling in Faribault, and we are fortunate to have such a position.
