A record-breaking month of e-tabs has been obtained: e-tab sales were strong at $150K, down from last month’s $174K, but the gross margin rocked to20.22% from 15.01%, delivering gross profits of $30K, a new FRYS record, whereas gross profits were only $26K last month even though sales were 16% higher.
This is the first-time FRYS cleared the $30K threshold for a gross profit on any game Like e-tabs, paper tabs also retreated over May, falling to $79K from April’s $96K, and like e-tabs again, the gross profit margin blossomed to 24.3% in May, up from 19.3% in April. As a result, gross profits pushed to $19K from $18.6K, respectively.
Bingo also saw a drop in sales in May, falling to $21K but only a small decline from April’s $23K, but keeping with the theme of the month, bingo also saw its gross profit margin expand to 26% in May from 20.0% in April, boosting gross profits to $6K from $5K As luck broke FRYS’ way over May via the gross profit margin expansion, earnings turned in a robust $17K, the best month since January 2026; however, May’s $17K of earnings is net of $17K in taxes taken out of earnings whereas January had only $13K in such tax burden Zooming out to earnings year-to-date delivers another record breaking total: Through May 2026, meaning 9 months of earnings, FRYS has produced a powerful net income of $107K, already exceeding all the prior year’s net income of $103K!!!
for reference, net income through May 2025 was only $83K
In other FRYS news, the rumor is the State of MN will be wrapping up its Unrelated Business Income Tax (“UBIT”) audit this week, so TBD on the findings
