Dave reported that this year's Rotary Concert was a strong success, both in attendance and quality of performance. The club raised $1,130 for music scholarships, up from $835 the prior year, with additional funds still coming in.
Brandon offered remarks about the pride he felt emceeing the event and took a moment to formally recognize the members whose work made the night possible:
Junior volunteers, including several with the president's last name and others from the community, were also recognized. One young volunteer was noted for standing up when rotarians were asked to rise and declaring that he and his brother were “basically rotarians.”
