President Connie’s Report:
- Colborne Rotary is holding their Golf Tournament on June 16th, 2016 at Shelter Valley Pines 9am and $95.00 per golfer
- Rotary Club of Stirling is holding their 20th Re-charter Birthday Bash on June 18th 3pm. Free Admission for all
- Camp Enterprise wrap up meeting Thursday June 23rd at 630pm at the CCC.
Club Announcements:
- Thank you to the Golf Committee, sponsors, volunteers, and golfers for a wonderful day on Monday. Everybody I talked to had a great time.
- Joint Board meeting on Monday June 6th 6pm at Connie’s house.
- No meeting June 22nd
- Thank you to Petra and Eddy for opening their home to the Rotary outbound and inbound exchange students for a swim and BBQ on the weekend.

Tom Sear: Motion to purchase a Shelter Box for $1000.00. passed by the club
Motion to send $500.00 to the Fort McMurray Disaster fund had a friendly amendment from Petra Becker to raise the amount to $1000.00 and the friendly amendment was 2nd by Linda Givales. The motion was passed by the club.
Scott Allison: Andrew Smith is having a Birhday and Scott and Sherrylyn are celebrating their Anniversary this week.
Happy Bucks: Alison L. Happy to be moving to a new home. Melanie R. happy to announce her new business of Racine Law. Will Lambert happy to be at Rotary this morning. Karen O. Happy for the success of Men who Cook and her party for her God daughter. Paul R. Was sad to miss our Golf tourney but was happy to be golfing in Virginia. Kerry L. Was happy for a successful Golf tournament and wanted to thank all who helped make it easy for him and successful. Tom S. Happy for a great Golf tourney. Hank V. Daughter Natalie is returning from Costa Rica on a work exchange this weekeng. President Connie happy and nervous for her Natalie who is in Cambodia. Linda Goldie was happy to volunteer for
the golf tourney and was able to find a stick to hide from the sun. Saimi was happy to attend the Prom on the weekend and also to volunteer for the golf tourney.
Guest Speaker: Will Lambert from The Canadian Firefighter’s Museum
- Will is a Toronto firefighter
- Can. Firefighters museum has been active for over 30 years
- Canada does not have an official Canadian Firefighters Museum
- There are lots of different sectors of firefighters such as Airport and Military
- They have artifacts from across the Country.
- Current site will be demolished in 2017
- They are negotiating with Canadian Tire to acquire the Canadian Tire Building in Port Hope
- They have retained Professionals to aid in acquiring the property
- They always need volunteers, Board Members and fundraising dollars
