Erie Canal Path Clean Sweep and new Auburn Trail C

Begins at 12:30 p.m., this Sunday. Sutherland Interactors will begin in the Burgundy Basin Inn parking lot and work their way west through Schoen Place ending on the canal path next to the Del Monte Lodge.  Mendon Interactors will start in the parking lot behind Starbucks on the corner of Clover Street and Monroe Avenue.  That group will clean-up the Auburn Trail east and, hopefully, meet the Sutherland group around 3 p.m.  Pat Mallery be supervising the Sutherland group.  Pete Crooker will lead the Mendon Interactors.  We are in need of Rotarians/adults to help supervise the Interactors and help with the clean-up.  We've checked both walking paths in the past few days and the Auburn Trail has a lot more trash on it than the canal path.  Town Supervisor, Bill Smith will meet the group at 3 p.m. for a photo shoot.  This is a "rain or shine" event.  There is no rain date.
