Naples Grape Festival

The Naples Grape Festival is Proudly Presented by the Naples Grape and Arts Festival LLC. All proceeds go to the Naples Historical Society and Naples NY Rotary Club. The Naples Historical Society is all about preserving the rich history of Naples while the Naples Rotary Club is all about creating a bright future for our community!

The Naples Grape Festival is an annual festival in Naples, New York, United States, dedicated to grapes. The town of Naples is in the center of Finger Lakes American Viticultural Area, a region known for grape-growing and wine making in the Finger Lakes area of Upstate New York.
 
Operation Santa Deliveries
If you are not aware, Operation Santa is a student driven community service group that has been a part of NCS tradition for over 75 years. We help families that need a little extra support at Christmas time.
The Naples NY Rotary Club supplies adult delivery of gifts to families receiving Operation Santa.
 
Naples Creek Rainbow Trout Derby
The famous Naples Creek Rainbow Trout Derby is organized by members of the Naples, NY Rotary Club, and runs from Sunrise to 5PM on opening day, April 1st.  All proceeds generated by the event are used to help fund community service projects in the Naples, NY area. You can stop into The Sutton Company, famous makers of the “Sutton Spoon,” to register in person. There will also be a registration table at the Naples Firehall on Vine St., Naples NY on March 31 or the day of the Derby.
 
Great Grape Derby
The Naples NY Rotary Club presents the annual Great Grape Derby usually on the second Saturday in May. It’s a GREAT Grape Race down Naples Creek ending at the digger off Mark Circle! One Great Grape WINs $500 CASH!! 5 others win $100 each, and the last grape receives a prize too! Tickets are $5 each or three for $10 and are available from any Rotarian. Here is how the derby works: each numbered ticket corresponds to a numbered plastic grape. the Grapes will be dumped simultaneously into Naples Creek. You need not be present to win, although it’s a lot of fun!
 
To raise a little cash we also do a 50/50 raffle at the event. 
Bristol Valley Theater

Bristol Valley Theater presents dynamic professional theater in the heart of the scenic Finger Lakes. Top-notch talent, small town charm! They feature plays and musicals over the course of the summer as well as concerts and other events in the Spring and Fall.

Various theater/performance classes are offered throughout the year, including summer camps and apprentice programs which Naples NY Rotary Club sponsors.

Naples Library

Small Town Charm, Worldwide Access

The Naples Library vision is to inform, inspire, educate and entertain area residents of all ages, in an easily accessed, resource rich environment. Their mission is to provide all residents of its service area with a wide variety of resources, materials, technologies and educational opportunities in order to increase the knowledge of our community, satisfy curiosity, and create new readers. The Naples NY Rotary Club sponsors many projects with the library.

Naples Open Cupboard Inc.

Naples Open Cupboard is working to eliminate hunger and improve the health and well-being of our community by partnering and collaborating with various organizations and people to improve access to healthy and nutritious foods, while simultaneously educating the community we serve. 

The Naples NY Rotary Club supports the open cupboard by doing a food drive a couple times of year and sponsors a bookshelf for the closet.
Naples Angels
Naples Angels is a community based group in Naples NY. We exist to assist persons within the boundaries of the Naples School District when they are confronted with emergency needs that cannot be met through the usual social service agencies. Explore Naples NY is an exciting new not-for-profit that has assembled a group of like-minded Neapolitans from various local organizations who seek to uncover and unleash the potential success of Naples as a destination. From nurturing new entrepreneurs, to promoting and preserving our historic past, to sharing our natural beauty, Explore Naples NY seeks to bring all of these elements together in unique experiences to share with our visitors and residents. They believe that Naples possesses highly desirable experiences like no other community anywhere else in the Finger Lakes! Naples Rotary Club is a member of this organization.

Naples Historical Society

The mission of the Naples Historical Society is to promote an interest in the history of Naples, New York and the surrounding area by maintaining and displaying historical collections and exhibits, and by providing educational programs. Their vision is to spread a love of the Naples community by preserving our local history, discovering new knowledge together, and sharing our resources with all.

(The NHS was the original founder of the Naples Grape Festival. Our Rotary club stepped in and took over the Festival many years ago, and it is now run by our club, with assistance from the Society.)

Hospeace House

The Hospeace House is located in Naples on County Rd. 33. It provides 24-hour support for those who are terminally ill and their families in a loving, comfortable home. Hospeace House operates as an extension of the family, and in conjunction with nursing agencies to provide comfort care. At Hospeace House the needs of the person come first and dignity is ensured throughout their remaining days. The staff & volunteers work to alleviate pain and suffering for both the resident and their family. Many of us have experienced and understand the challenges of caring for a loved one. Hospeace House hopes to help lessen those challenges. Hospeace House is funded solely by donations, fundraising, memorial contributions and through the generosity of our community. The Naples Rotary's Walk of Life proceeds are divided between Hospeace House and the Margery Pawluk Cancer Fund.

Wreaths at The Naples Memorial Town Hall
A wreath immediately says “welcome” from the street. The Naples NY Rotary Club wants to welcome visitors and community to the Naples Memorial Town Hall. they have "adopted" the doors and will decorate wreaths all year for the all to enjoy.

Stroll Down Main Street enjoy the Glistening Lights beautiful Holiday decorations Listen to music of the season Take in some Holiday treats and cheers Hear the church bells ringing Dance by the Bonfire Share Christmas Stories with friends Enjoy Cookies & Cocoa a special visits by Santa & Mrs. Claus and … the Lighting of the Big Christmas Tree at the memorial town Hall Come one come all! A group of Rotarians come together to make this event happen. Usually we have a small fundraiser to involve the community.
 
Adopt-A-Cemetery/Rose Ridge Cemetery
The Adopt-A-Cemetery Program is a way to connect individuals, groups, and organizations with cemeteries in need of attention and maintenance. The Naples NY Rotary Club saw a need at the Rose Ridge Cemetery so adopted it. The Club supports having large cross being lit. The whole village appreciates its nightly beauty.
