The Corning Rotary Club invites your participation in an event that truly celebrates the vast cultural diversity of our region. The International Celebration Event (formally known as the International Dinner) will take place at the newly renovated DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
We are now offering tickets to our International Celebration Dinner. Sponsorships are also available to support this worthy cause.
While bringing together people from a broad range of international cultures and organizations, the International Celebration is also the main funding source for the Corning Rotary Club’s life-changing international projects. Even as a pandemic ravished the world, these Rotary projects:
• assisted refugee resettlement and food kitchens in Ukraine and Poland,
• built homes in El Salvador,
• repaired schools in Nepal,
• provided skills training in Sewing/Tailoring to 50 young Ugandan woman and men,
• trained 100 youth in horticulture and organic farming and established village gardens in two rural Ugandan villages. Produce from these gardens provided a sustainable source of food for over 400 families.
