Rotarian and Ovarian Cancer Survivor

Susan Evans is a retired public school English teacher, author, and ovarian cancer survivor. Susan co-authored the book, Don’t Write The Obituary Yet, with her physician, Dr. Thomas Krivak. The book has sold over 1,300 copies to date, and sales have helped to raise over $114,000 toward the Evans-Krivak Gynecological Cancer Research and Education Fund.

​Susan has told her story of survival to over 81 civic groups, and she has been covered widely in media outlets including the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Diamond Run Living magazine, and Faith magazine.
