President Phil opened our meeting with a toast to the King and the People of Australia. He then welcomed our guests: Sister Kaye Bryan, Sister Carmel Wallace, Kathy Wallace, Mel Bradley, Kirsty Cole and Michelle Burton.
He then called on Kathy Wallace to introduce our guest speakers Kaye and Carmel.

CSU SCHOLARSHIP
Peter Green, scholarship chair, said that the scholarship has been in existence for 31 years and it is time for a review. This year there was no scholarship granted although there were three outstanding candidates. These candidates had been awarded other scholarships and it is CSU's policy that candidates are only permitted one scholarship. Peter said that his committee would meet and make recommendations to the New Board in relation to the scholarship program.
PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
John Egan reported that he has received 217 entries, more than a 100 percent increase over the previous competition.
Entries will be displayed at 70 Fitzmaurice St, following the opening of the exhibition. This will be on:
FRIDAY 12TH MAY, COMMENCING AT 7 P.M.
Every one is invited but you must send and RSVP by 9th May to johnandmariaegan@gmail.com for catering purposes.
ROTARY YOUTH DRIVER AWARENESS (RYDA)
Doug Sutton reminded volunteers that his event is on next week and our day of rostered duty is Thursday 11th May
Frank Fuller has kindly offered to help in place of John Egan who is involved with the photographic exhibition on the same day.
Those Rostered for the day are: Doug Sutton (Coordinator for the day). David Benn, Frank Fuller, David Golland, Stuart Heriot, Bill Parker and James Ross.
Please be at the Kyeamba Smith Hall, Wagga Showground, at 9 am on Thursday 11th May. Your duties will be to escort a group of year 11 students to each lecture. Duties will finish by 2.30 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
