ImagePresident Phil welcomed 56 members and guests to last Tuesday's meeting, which was the AGM. A special welcome was extended to Charter President, Graham Hornibrook and Charter Member and Past President Bruce Pinney.

President Phil gave a comprehensive report from last week's Board Meeting. This included a treasurer's report from Peter MacKinnon which gave the club a combined balance of approximately $130,000 in the four accounts of Club, Community, Reserve and Food & Wine Festival. Phil emphasised that some monies for club dues are yet to be paid to Rotary International and District.

There was an expansive and thorough report from the Sunday Markets committee headed by Col Mercer.

It was agreed by the meeting to endorse the Board's decision to continue to published the weekly bulletin in the public domain of the website.
Membership of the club is currently 79 with one new application, and our exchange student, Nelson Alvardo.

President Phil recommended that all chairman of committees look at their respective budgets and investigate if there is a responsibility to finance an existing program which is supported by the club. This is particularly important in the areas of Foundation and Youth, so chairmen are encouraged to contact their Directors Wal Paton and Darren Wallace and discuss their budgets.

The youth area is busy and robust as usual. RYPEN is on this weekend, Driver Awareness 17-22 March and our exchange student, Heidi Shutter leaves for Austria next month.
