                                                          The Formation of the Rotary Club of Wollundry, Wagga Wagga

 

The Rotary Club of South Wagga extended an invitation to a number of local businessmen to attend their meeting on the 13th February 1978. This being 38 years ago yesterday.

At the conclusion of the meeting 21 prospective members including Graham Burmeister and Ken Cook showed sufficient interest in the formation of a new club and the Wagga Wagga Mid-Day Rotary Club was formed as a provisional club.
