President John began the meeting at Wagga Wagga High School with Rotary Grace.  He immediately handed the group over to our student guides, where we split into two groups and began our tour of the facilities.

Our Donation of $43,000 to the Wagga High Learning Support Unit was used to purchase electronic training equipment including white boards, ipads, training software and a wide variety of additional specialised training tools.  Members were given demonstrations of the equipment being used by students and various software programs aiding students in learning basc life skills.  School teachers explained how the new advanced technologies were making learning more interesting for the special students and expressed their sincere gratitude to Wollundry  members for the donation.  Click here to view the full photo album of the site visit.

After the tour we were treated to a meal where President John briefly conducted our meeting

John reminded members of the Combined Rotary Games to be held at Riding for Disabled complex at Plumpton Road.

Several members made announcements.  Alan Eldridge announced that we had a full schedule of speakers through December and that we were looking for quality speakers for the new year.  Darren Wallace announced he was performing in a play at the Wagga Civic theatre titled  Away, and it was on  Nov 1-6-7-and 8th and he invited memeber's to attend.
