Thankyou for another well attended meeting,

There are a couple of items discussed at Monday’s Board meeting that I would like share.
- Hat day will be on the 15th of October 2024. It was suggested that members contribute $10 each towards Rotary Health as well as wearing the most unusual hat you can find.
- Joe McGirr’s office is seeking nominations for Wagga woman of the year. How to nominate can be found on Joe McGirr's website.
- The combined Wagga Peace Committee will meet on 26th of September to begin planning for a peace Day ceremony to be held in Feb/March 2025.
- Nominations are required from all Clubs for the Community award and the Helen and Peter Walsh Memorial award. Have a think about someone you would like to nominate and maybe discuss this with myself.
- Several Environmental Projects are being considered in partnership with Wagga Wagga City Council. The projects being considered will not involve too much hard labour. I have invited Christina Reid to come and speak at a meeting, TBA
- Cork and Fork is still under consideration with the first one maybe in March 2025. All depending on meeting with Tim McMullen and the C&F committee.
Have a great week,
President Postie
