Presidents report for meeting 15/8/23
- Another good turnout for the meeting this week. It is really great to see lots of members attending meetings and enjoying some fellowship. Thank you for coming.
- A reminder for Michael Knight – TURN YOUR PHONE OFF SILENT!
- A new and interesting proposal regarding the running of the Saturday Markets will go to the Future Innovations Committee and then the Board next week. More news to follow.
- Confirming that the vocational visit to Borambola is Tuesday 10 October 12-2pm and will include a catered American BBQ lunch plus wine tasting for $35. Please come along for what will be an enjoyable afternoon with Tim and Naomi McMullen.
- Don’t forget – our guest speaker on 29 August is Suzanne Westgate, NSW Property Development Manager with Transgrid. I suggest you being a guest/partner/friend to this meeting.
- If there any members who would like to speak about a holiday, personal experience or a topic they are passionate about, please let me know and you can speak in the new MEMBERS NEWS session that will start next week (hopefully, if I get some takers!)
