President's Report

 
 
President Phil opened the meeting and welcomed 47 members and 4 guests to our meeting. After Rotary Grace we drank a toast to the Queen, and the People of Australia, and took our seats. 
Phil welcomed guest speaker Paul Dempsey as well as Antonine Ansort, Bruce Dicker and Johnty Shuter.
 
Phil Made the following announcements:
 
 
  • ​​​Working with Children Compliance. We are all required to complete this document each year as we have an exchange student. This can be completed online and can be accessed via the google search engine.
  • Wagga Rotary Book Fair will be held on Sat 17th and Sun 18th May at the Kyeamba Smith Hall. Please support this worthwhile fund raiser by donating books which can be dropped off prior at Elders in Kincaid St. or attend the Book fair and buy some books.

  • Changeover 17th June
  • Talbingo Weekend 23 - 25 May. Please reply to Mark Hillis' email so that he can finalise numbers. If you are NOT going please let him know.
  • RI Conference Sydney 1 - 4 June
  • District Assembly 4th May at Grenfell
  • Board Meeting 1st May and 5th June New Board included.
  • Directors Reports required by 6th May.
