Hi all,

We vote on the Regionalisation Trial in September. It is important that we all have some idea of what we are voting for. There is a lot of information on the web about what the trial will entail. Have a look and get some understanding of what it is about before it is time to vote.
I did mention today Orange Sky, an organisation that provides free laundry services for those doing it tough in the community. They have partnered with Splash Laundrettes in Wagga. I will circulate material by email.
Congratulations to Phil McIntosh upon the receipt of the Area 3 Rotarian of the year award. Thank you to AG Elaine Almond for nominating Phil for the award, accepting it on his behalf at the District Changeover and coming along today to present it to him.
The District Conference will be held in Wagga in October. A lot of planning and preparation is going into getting it off the ground. There is a District steering committee in place and a yet to be finalised logistics committee to pull it all together in Wagga. John Smith has taken on the role of Chairman of the Wagga committee, he is looking for a good Secretary to sit in and record his meetings. Wollundry RC will be involved along with other Clubs in Wagga in the planning and organisation.
The meeting at the Riverside Precinct tomorrow with Council and the Licensing Sergeant should be quite informative for both the Gears and Beers and Food and Wine committees.
Regards,
President Phil
