PRESIDENTS ANNOUNCEMENTS

I recently attended a District training program in Wagga with Paul Murray and John Egan. The event was to train a small number of people in presentation skills as part of a program that aims to explain key aspects of Rotary to the leaders within District 9700. Our District is one of the last in Australia to adopt this new program.
As many of our members travel and are often away for weeks at a time I thought it was good to acknowledge where people had been.
Col Mercer is back after almost three months away including a long stint in Darwin where he has family.
Michael Knight and his partner Sandra are now staying with our Canadian friend, Brent Pickard.
Bob Willis has recently returned from 6 weeks in Canada.
And Wayne Jenkins and Maureen say hello to everyone from the warm Kimberley region of Kununurra.

Please plan ahead and invite Katarina (or Kat as she prefers) over for dinner or on a trip you might be taking in the future.
And if anyone is still owing a "Meal Deal" please follow up when you can. Members who are involved in this social aspect of our club certainly rate this as a great activity!
