 President David fired up the meeting announcing that each meeting as a club assembly would feature the traditional Rotary Grace, and at other times, the invocation would be used to open the meeting. This decision had been made at last nights Board Meeting. A loyal toast will continue in the existing format. The headline reads "Dogs choose Boys" A similar program here is "Boys to the Bush" and David reported that further investigation will occur. |
Our committee have selected three students to attend the National Youth Science Forum early next year. We had budgeted to send two to attend, each supported by a 50% subsidy. The Board will extend this to all three students. They are: Zerbab Abbissi. Archie Grintell. Ethan Whiting. Projects recommended by the Projects committee and approved by the board were: 24/25. #6 Defibrillator for Open Doors Pinnaroo Village - estimated to cost $2000 24/25. #7 Kidney Health project. $2000 donation from Gears and Beers Funds. The Board decisions were ratified by club membership at todays meeting. |

Gerry Gerlach has identified some parkland along Kooringal Road that is signposted as Rotaract Park. It is probably a project of the earliest Rotaract group, but remains underdeveloped. His comment - could this be a project in conjunction with Wagga City Council. President David advised that he had been in contact with the Council and opportunities for Joint development are being sought. |
