We were glad to see Cherie Benn at this meeting, along with a good number of members.

This meeting took the form of a BBQ at the new and excellent PCYC building at 11 Fitzhardinge St..
Mal Robertson and Wal Paton cooked lunch on the club BBQ.

Members were then shown around the PCYC building by Wayne and Troy from the PCYC. The building cost $24 million and includes a large room with four courts for basketball, netball and footsall, and other indoor sports. It also has rooms for dancing, gymnastics and fitness, and a large conference room which can seat more than 20 people. There is also a substantial underground car park for member’s use, which will improve access to these facilities.

In addition to sports there are social facilities for young people to meet after school, and the Club can also provide meals for needy children. This building is sure to be a valuable addition to the Wagga Community.
