President David welcomed visitors Richard Daley and Ken Dillon picture above with John Flynn and David Milne respectively.
David raised a number of topics including:
- A new venue for our meetings and committee meetings. After some discussion members agreed to meeting henceforth at The Lawson on Tarcutta St
- The Changeover at The Grange was deemed an outstanding success.
- Distribution of the Bulletin to Wives and Partners. It was agreed that they should be entitled to receive the bulletin as they have in the past. This can be easily done by members forwarding their bulletin to the W/P email or by providing the W/P email address to be included in Club Runner.
- A leadership forum on Domestic Violence is to be held on 26th July. Two representatives from organisations can attend. Send an email to david.post57@gmail.com
- Member Welfare. David reminded members to look out for each other and spread the word if you know someone is unwell. Bob Willis is still in hospital.
- Check Committees in Club Runner to see which Committee you have been assigned to. Check also at the bottom of your Bulletin.

Past President Darren Wallace thanked all who came to the Changeover on Saturday night saying what a great night it was. He wanted to read the following citation for David Golland. In the rush of the evening it was overlooked and so it is published here:
David Golland joined The Rotary Club of Wollundry in October 2020, just short of 4 years ago.
He is a retired businessman and committed volunteer within the charitable community of Wagga Wagga.
He has proven to be a diligent and competent member of our team during those few short years of service.
For the past year he has been a member of the Club Board and carried out the duties of Service Projects Director in a committed and impactful manner.
This year, he has also served as the Chairman of two committees and served as a committed member on three other committees.
David chaired the scholarships committee this year and revitalised the Club’s interaction with local Secondary Schools and Charles Sturt University. Students will benefit from his efforts in this role, well into the future.
He has also been keenly involved in Committees surrounding Saturday Markets, Service Project assessment and Rotary Youth Driver Awareness program.
The recognition by the Club tonight, for David’s services is well deserved.
Congratulations again David!
MYSTERY CARTON OF WOLF BLASS SPARKLING WINE
Richard Baguley arrived in our meeting room with a carton of said wine but did not know from whence it came. Mystery was solved by Pat Ingram (no surprises there), who revealed it had been purchased some years ago for the Food and Wine Festival VIP Room. Apparently it has been sitting in Romanos store room until found by Richard.
BUNNINGS BARBECUE FOR VINNIES
Sunday's Barbecue on July 7th will benefit St Vincent De Paul Society. Four volunteers from our Club will be assisting wearing our new rig. It will be a good opportunity to show our face in the community. Volunteers are Peter Crozier, Doug Sutton and Darren Wallace.
Stuart Heriot and John Egan have had to withdraw so we need another two volunteers. If you can help call Doug Sutton on 0418451563

LUCKY DRAW PRIZE
The winner this week was John Egan.
