Board Meeting | |
President Phil announced that at the board meeting on Monday night the board accepted the resignation of Steve Barker. Phil said the treasure had advised the following projects had been paid, $2,000 to the PNG Solar Project, $2,950 for the donations from the members to the Rotary Foundation, $2,950 for sponsorship of students to RYPEN, $2,400 for RYPEN Leadership program, $1,639.82 to Gumley Gardens kitchen upgrade, $2,500 to South Wagga Anglican Parish for two AED's, $2,000 to the Fiji solar battery replacement project. New project expenditure approved at last night's board meeting were ratified at today's meeting. They are, Anglicare Christmas Appeal $5,000, Carevan freezer upgrade $4,950, Vinnies Christmas Appeal $5,000, ProPatria Trust to establish the centre $15,000, Ronald McDonald House for six months accommodation $6,000 and RAWCS for the Central West NSW community flood relief $10,000, Wagga Boat Club $1,250 to assist with the purchase of an automated external defibrillator. Darren Wallace has been accepted as President for 2023-24. | |

| David Pyke presented a deep dive into the Income & Expenses report that went to the Auditors, he stepped through each line using the projector screen. A copy had been circulated to all members. He also talked through some of the recommendations. | |

Constitution | |
| James Hamilton spoke in detail about the changes the club is making to the constitution follow the recently proposed recommendations. There are six from Rotary International and six from the Department of Fair Trading. James opened it up for members to discuss and ask questions. It was moved and accepted that these changes be applied. James also accepted the position of Public Officer. | |
