Acting President Doug Sutton opened the meeting with an invocation of thanks and a toast to King Charles and the People of Australia. He then welcomed guests Andrea Crossley our guest speaker for today and John Ashcroft.
PP Doug then reminded the meeting of:
  • RYDA coming up on the 9th May
  • The Board Meeting next Monday 15th
  • A proposed Membership Function where members are requested to bring at least one prospective member for fun and information about our club.
SERGEANT SESSION
John Gray reminded us of the benefit of a good sergeant's session. Well prepared, he brought a lot of humour to the meeting with some well targeted and good humoured fines. He ended with a very fun reverse complaint of you drivers against older drivers. He almost succeeded in making us feel sorry for the speeding and erratic P platers that we see too much of on our daily commutes. Well done John!

MEDIAL UPDATE
John Ferguson was back to our meeting and informed members of his successful treatment for Cancer. He had 50 hours of chemo and steroid treatment. The latter he said allowed him to regularly beat his fellow golfers. He will have six monthly check ups and the good thing is he no longer requires a barber! H wanted to thank everyone for their support during his treatment and to let them know that he is now well. (Photo on right with hair?)

LUCKY DRAW PRIZE
The lucky winner of the bottle of Borambola's best was President Elect David Post!
