The Thirty seconders:
Doug Sutton thanked the members who were able to help out at the RYDA event this week. Our club was very well represented and had a very good day.
The students who attended got a lot out of the demonstrations and the talks. One such talk came from a young man who had suffered a severe head trauma in a level crossing smash, and although he seemed to be managing quite well, assured us all that life had taken a very sharp turn for the worst.
This brought it home to everyone there just how simple it is to have life change so quickly.
The braking distance demonstartion was sobering as well.
 
 
 
 
 
   
 
 Another Rotary Wheel Meal Deal.     A great night was had by all at this top event
 
 
 The dinner was hosted by Renae and James.
who welcomed  -  Rob Herriot, Ken, Jackie and Andrew Taylor, James Ross, Richard Boxsell, Renae Elrington, Kathy and Bob Willis.
This is an excellent way to get to know the members of your club and their partners . Sometimes it takes abit of organising with busy people, but it's well worth the effort.
