Wollundry Christmas Party

The clubs Christmas Party was at Geoff and Jan Hamilton’s home at Downside on Sunday. The location was stunning – a magnificent home set in a grand garden, with views stretching miles over agricultural pursuits involving tractors, headers, trucks and thirsty farmers. That didn’t seem to prey on the minds of the Wollundry party animals as they polished off their Ham, Turkey and Roast Beef, accompanied by ales, wines and various refreshments in the shade of the Hamilton garden.

Phil thanked our hosts for making their home available for the party, the social committee for organizing the event, and a few extra efforts – Pat Ingram and Mark Hillis provided chairs, and I’m sure there were more, Thanks to all involved.

Mark Hillis reported that he had some alarming news, conveyed by phone during Sunday evening, and explained that his son had suffered an electric shock. Mark thanked those who were with him for their support, and told us that all was now back to normal.
