Rotary Information-RAWCS

ImageGeorge Thomas presented an informative session on RAWCS(Rotary Australia World Community Service). RAWCS assists Rotary Clubs develop and manage projects to improve the lives and living conditions of others in developing countries in our region which extends through Asia and Africa.

RAWCS Ltd acts as a national company with District 9700 being part of the Eastern Region Committee of Districts. The last program we were involved in was the RYLA programs in East Timor which promoted its future leaders.

George concluded with a statement that a meeting will shortly be held with the Member for Wagga Wagga, Daryl Maguire and GTES regarding involvement in an apprenticeship program in developing countries.
