Jim Gibson presented this session, and brought us up to speed on the International Fellowship of Cricketing Rotarians. The Australian branch holds tournaments around Australia on a regular basis with the most recent in Adelaide. World Tournaments come around every two years, and England will host next year.

In addition, when Ashes tours to England are on, a team of Australian Rotarians tour to the UK, and that will happen in July this year. Jim Gibson will be part of the touring party of 24, leaving on July 1. Included in the itinerary, a one day “test” in Scotland, and an “ashes test” at Exeter.

Jim announced that the most recent signing to the fellowship was Peter Crozier, and that Peter was selected as a tourist to the UK in 2014.

Peter Clucas chipped in to advise that another fellowship, the Motorcycling Rotarians, were heading of to Swan Hill this weekend for a session of golf, a big dinner and great friendship. He had booked for twelve, and had eleven acceptors, so there was a space for one more. Travel could be by bike, car or plane.
