President's Welcome

President Phil welcomed 55 members and guests to last Tuesday's meeting.

He welcomed back "Big" Jim Gibson fresh from his successful cricket tour of the "Old Dart" and Singapore, Treasurer, Peter MacKinnon and Geoff Hamilton from his "flying trip' to France. Ben Howard, Bob Willis and exchange student, Nelson Alverado were guests of the club.

Phil reminded us that D/G Geoff Tancred will be a guest at our meeting of 13th August and a board meeting is schedule for the morning of this meeting.

There will be a combined meeting with Junee and Coolamon Rotary Clubs at the Junee RSL Club at 6.30pm also on 13th August. Greg Conkey will be guest speaker while members of the Wagga City Rugby Male Choir will also perform. Greg gave us a great powerpoint of the tour to NZ and Tonga by the choir and this will feature in a future bulletin.

Mark Hillis would like names to him asap for the Sailing on Sydney Harbour weekend in October.

Andy Irvine spoke about renewals and changes to the Responsible Service of Alcohol cards. Members should contact James Ross for details.
