President's Announcements

President Andrew Irvine opened the meeting by welcoming a number of visitors: Graham Barrow, Alan Lloyd, Glen Cleghorn, Leuway Spinks, Carolyn Murray, Gail Smith, Kay Thomas, Kathy Wallace, Chris Hillis.

Andy reminded members that there will be a Club Assembly on 19th February. Main topic of discussion will the logo that Phil McIntosh designed and whether to incorporate it into our uniform. If members have any submissions to make on this or any other topic please send an email to Andy prior to the meeting. This will keep controversy and discussion to a minimum on the day.

Andy offered congratulations on behalf of all members to Lawrie Blowes who was named Citizen of the Year for Wagga at the Australia Day Awards ceremony. All agreed it was a well deserved award and Lawrie was loudly applauded. Lawrie wants everyone to know that the Barbecue that Wollundry donated is up and running and we will have a vocational visit to the site when the weather cools in the Autumn.
