Meeting 15th January 2013

President Andrew welcomed 47 members and one guest, Georgia Sayer to this week's meeting. Many members are still away enjoying their last days of their vacation before they start the grind of work for 2013!

Andy called on club members to assist South Wagga Apex with the organisation of this year's Gumi Festival. Assistance is needed between 9am-1pm and to contact Andy if you can help.

The HMA Twomey Patterson Twilight Golf re-commences this week at the Wagga Country Club. No report from our golfing tragics, but it is expected our two teams will be in the mix for the "big money" now that the competition is down to the finals stage.

Andy called on Doug Sutton for a report on this year's Rotary Peace Awards Ceremony. Wollundry is the organising club this year and Doug is seeking members' assistance. The awards will be held in the Victory Memorial Gardens on Sunday 17th February at 11am. Doug is asking for a nomination for a peace award from our club.
