The final meeting for December was another Ladies day and a send off for Sofi Seneme. We were fortunate that Sofi's Mum and Sister joined us on Zoom as did her Uncle, a cousin and a few Rotarians in Sao Paulo who sponsored Sofi on her Aussie exchange trip. All of her host parents were either at the meeting or on Zoom.President James opened the meeting and requested that we sing the Rotary grace which was done with the same gusto of the previous week, in tune. This was a day for Sofi as she was our guest speaker in her send off speech to our Club.We were so lucky to have this delightful young Brazilian lady with us for 2020. More of Sofi's speech follows.

An important function was performed by President James. John Smith was called to the floor and was presented with Sapphire pin in recognition of continuing service to Rotary. Well done Smithy. He responded with a salute and promptly returned to his seat. There was no sergeant session as we were all more interested in the presentation from SofiAnd now for a couple of one liners
