Exchange Student Arrives

Katarina Janzon, our new International Rotary Exchange Student from Sweden has arrived.

A large contingent of members, wives and host parents met an exhausted Katarina at Wagga Airport last week after a mammoth flight of over 40 hours. Katarina must have thought she'd arrived at the end of the earth. 

 

Katarina gave a short address and impressed with her perfect English. She told us that she is happy to be here and has a sister who was a Rotary Exchange student to China.

 

Katarina is pictured above with Cathy Pyke who together with David will be her first host parents.

 

A very big welcome to you Katarina and there is no doubt you will receive the same wonderful hospitality as previous exchange students have experienced.
