Our speaker on Tuesday was Dr Damian Candusso. Damian was introduced by John Ferguson. Damian is a Sound Designer. He explained what a Sound Designer does, and that is, to design sound effects. He noted that sound is one of the first senses we experience. In the womb we hear sounds. He showed us some of his motion picture work and explained how he captures sound wherever he can. Damian is an international multi-award winning sound designer and senior CSU lecturer with over 17 years of industry experience in film, television, animation, games, music and installation art. |
