DisTec19 is completed and we had over 50 great students, helpers and support persons. After some teething problems with circuit breakers and computer hardware issues, the day settled into a relaxing learning experience with outstanding food from Ros and her staff. There were a dozen Rotarians from District 9710 including DG Margaret Hassall and 42 Rotarians from District 9700 including DG John Glassford and DGE John McKenzie. After introductory and Intermediate sessions in ClubRunner, Rotarians charged into the exercise of creating a proper Story with text and a photograph. The compiled photographs and text has been published as a bulletin entitled DisTec Dispatch which identifies most of the Rotarians with pictures, names and brief articles. Doug Kinlyside from Bathurst Daybreak added the following story. |
| I am reflecting on being on the stage in this Young Town Hall at my Year 6 Graduation from Young North Public School in 1965. The hall looks really nice now, but a lot smaller. Just realizing how much technology has changed since 1965! |
