Phil McIntosh and Tim Barter gave a extensive report on the very successful Wollundry Cycling Challenge. .  At the beginning of Phil’s talk, he made a point of acknowledging Tim’s organizational skills and desire to “give it a go” .  He said it never would have happened without Tim,and he is “second to none.”  He also recognized Chris Metcalf as Tim’s 2IC and Nathan (Phls’s son)  as his 2IC. 
 
Phil then went on to give a special thanks to the following Committee members:
Tim Macgillycuddy, Pete Mackinnon, Laurie Blowes, Jim Gibson ,Kev Moffat, Neil Pinto, John Ferguson and Andy Irvine.
He also gave special recognition to Colin Duff for his electrical work,  Steve McCoy for his technical skills, Dave Foster for signage and Darren Wallace for entertainment. 
 
Phil recognised the Sponsors:  John Daly and WestPac Bank, Bush Campbell, Commin-Hendricks, Orthodontics Wagga, Matt Jenkins Homes and Hillis Skoda.  Phil took a call from Telstra who want to be a sponsor next year.   He was very pleased with the Media coverage … with 3 front pages.  He was grateful to the support of the Wagga Wagga City Council. He acknowledged the Army Recruit Training Centre at  Kapooka with 12 cadets.  He especially thanked Bill Harvey of the City Council for saving Wollundry $1,000 in traffic management. He recognised the strong social media effort of his son, Nathan. 
 
Phil was hopeful to get 150 entrants and there were well over 400. There were some mistakes, but next year will be better yet.  Phil could not give a financial report as Jim Gibson is home working on it.  He was hopeful that the Club would clear $10,000.  He concluded by thanking all of the members for their participation.
 
Tim Barter came to the podium and said there were a number of doubters who said that this could not be done in the allotted time.   Tim said “I am in the best Rotary Club in Wagga and we did it!”  He also thanked all of the members and said “well done”.
