Australia Day Market

The setting for this year's market was on the banks of the mighty Murrumbidgee held at the upgraded Wagga Wagga Beach Precinct. A brilliant sunny day of 32 degrees with a great crowd in attendance for the Citizenship Ceremony and entertainment.

OIC, John Smith reported that there was a crowd of around 5,000. The market was low cost (generator hire & paint only costs) as the Australia Day committee promoted the event. Recommended that the club should conduct special markets by "piggy backing" onto other primary events held at Wagga Beach.
