My Lockdown walk often takes me through beautiful Queens Park, Moonee Ponds and I would love to share it with you! The first picture points out the spot where Burke and Wills , the early explorers who set out to cross the continent from South to North, ditched their tents for the first night out from Melbourne.

The second picture is the quaint, but slightly run down tea rooms, where in usual circumstances you can sit down for breakfast or lunch. Now under Lockdown, you can get a good hot coffee. The third picture is a leaf from a local artist. While the last is just a lovely avenue of oak trees, a perfect place on a hot Melbourne day.

The park has become a very popular spot now that numerous high rises have been built in Moonee Ponds and people use the park as their personal garden.
