Although not and official Probus event there was a group of like minded souls who joined with a few friends and members from other clubs. We boarded the very smart launch "Rebecca" usually seen plying the river as a water taxi for a day on the river. Di arranged for everyone to bring snacks and finger food and of course liquid refreshments!
After witnessing the Blessing of the Fleet we watched a re-enactment of the landing and founding of Melbourne. After, we went on a jaunt up the Maribyrnong River. To conclude the day we enjoyed further refreshments at the Mission to the Seafarers who organised the day. Thanks go to all who helped to make it a lovely day.
