LUV A DUCK

What a feast at this Port Melbourne Showroom of LUV A DUCK. Wendy was our demonstrator and she managed to cook half a dozen dishes , all equally delicious. We started with Peking Duck. Jude and Kim became assistants and hand rolled delicious little wrappers with duck, cucumber batons and Hoisin sauce.  The versatility of duck was shown with a ragout on spaghetti and wings on cous cous and of course the traditional Duck A L'Orange. Glistening roast ducks with crispy skin appeared from the ovens and then the most delicious  potatoes roasted in duck fat of course! We got to try all the dishes with a glass off wine. The shop is stocked with a complete range of prepacked, cooked and frozen delights. We departed convinced we should enrol in some of their specialised cooking classes.
