This Weeks Speaker

Kathryn Hurwitz introduced our speaker Maureen Fritz-Roberts.
Maureen Fritz-Roberts has been a Rotarian for only 4 years, (however, married to one for 31 years ?" even attended a meeting on their honeymoon!) She is so enthusiastic about MEMBERSHIP and its importance to Rotary that she now makes presentations throughout the area promoting the Club in a Club (CIC) program.
She visited us today to encourage the complete support of all members as we embark on this well established plan to bring new members into our club. She outlined the 13 easy steps to making this a simple and effective process for recruitment. When we meet next week on the 15th for a club assembly, the program will be thoroughly explained and implemented and your attendance is of utmost importance. Lots of information on CIC can be found at www.clubinaclub.com .
If you go to the web site and click on Names Sheet you can print off as many copies as you like for yourself. Fill them out and bring them along to the next meeting.
This first assembly will be used to gather names of potential Rotarians from every member and answer any questions you may have. You can submit as many names as you like. According to CIC findings the average member will easily think of 5-7 names (3 instantaneously), but it is not uncommon for members to submit 25 names! Can we match these stats? In Maureen's own District 5020, they increased their membership by 46 and founded one new club in East Grays Harbour.
Maureen Smith thanked our speaker and expressed the wish that the enthusiasm Ms Fritz-Roberts brings to Rotary will be passed on to all of us as we implement CIC in our club.
