Rotary Fireside. Tuesday evening.

We had 11 Rotarians for an evening event at Bill Bourlet's home.

We saw three power point presentations on Rotary Fellowships.  One of Rotary's often not much know about activities.

IYFR which is the International Yachting Fellowship of Rotarians.  This is both the largest fellowship and the oldest having been started in Briton in  1947.

There are chapters round the world with one right here in Vancouver.

Every summer the local chapters gather with the Vancouver Island group and the Washington chapter for a Hands Across the Border rendezvous.

Last year it was in Maple Bay, Duncan and this year it will be in Friday Harbour.  San Juan Island.

 

We also heard about the IFMR which is the International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians.
