The Vancouver market has been on fire lately! Financial rule one---own your own home!
The increase in value over the years is tax free on your principal residency. You can buy your own home for as little as 5% down. Major cities will hold their value. Buy and hold.
Ride out the ups and downs of the market. You can achieve a 2,000 to 90,000 % return on you investment.
Put 20,000 down on a 100,000 home 20 years ago and that is worth one million today.
One point eight trillion dollars have just been printed.
What do you think is going to happen to inflation?
We have in-migration to B.C. Interest rates will go up, both local and international.
5 yr rates are controlled by the international community. They could go up to 12 or 13 %

Interest rates are very low right now. If you get the chance lock in your rates today.
Better safe than sorry. Rents will go up.
Pre- sales are a little slow right now.
This is a good time to buy. Especially Whistler. Prices will go up after the Olympics.
Whistler is cheap right now by international standards.
Labour supply is good today. Inflation is higher than is being reported by the government.
Income taxes and user fees are up.
Vancouver wont change as much as Whistler by the Olympics as it is a bigger market.
Our banks have been very conservative in their lending practices and therefore real estate here will continue to grow at a steady pace.
Paper assets to hard assets over the next few years has to be a good move.
The Fraser valley will continue to do well as will the Island.
