Hi Bill
I am a former exchange student from Denmark, came to Vancouver in 1992
and was fortunate enough to be sponsored by the Arbutus Club. How I
seem to have lost the mail addresses of my old host families. Can you
help me? I lived with the Higginbothams, Barnett's and Goodells in the
period of 92-93. Thank you for help. Please send a warm thank to my old
club that took me in and gave me so many fond memories of Canada.

Thanks so much, Bill. And I do remember you! I'm glad to hear that
Arbutus Rotary is alive and well. Everybody was very kind to me at the
club and I always enjoyed the weekly meetings. Please give everyone my
best regards. Just to give you a quick update on how things are with
me. First of all....I turn 31 tomorrow, can you believe it!? I'm living
in Copenhagen now , wonderful city, and am working as an architect.
Last year I was offered a job in Shanghai and moved there for 9 months,
working as an Interior Designer for a small Danish company. Needless to
say that was a huge experience in many ways, rewarding and demanding at
the same time. I met some very interesting people from all over the
world and got to experience the Chinese Klondyke first hand....what a
dynamic and crazy city! Back in Copenhagen where the pace is somewhat
slower I am enjoying being with my family and friends and living with
my boyfriend Christian. No children yet...but hopefully next year... I
often think of Vancouver although it's been many years. But a year
abroad makes a huge impression on a 16-year-old girl. Again thank you
all for giving me such a fantastic and rewarding experience.
