Title of Talk: “BC Hydro Indigenous Relations and general update” The speaker’s name is Leah Manson. Leah is a Team Lead on BC Hydro’s Indigenous Relations team, focused on strategy and policy initiatives. Her team works on bringing practical solutions to complex challenges, including First Nations co-ownership, calls for power, and agreement negotiations. Leah worked extensively with First Nations to develop BC Hydro’s United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Implementation Plan, and is now focused on working across the company and with First Nations to implement the plan.
