Deep River Town Hall, Main Street, Deep River.
VRHS students were challenged to pick a topic of choice and to analyze its ethics using the Rotary Four-Way Test. Their speeches will be presented at this public event. The Four-Way Test asks: 1) Is it the truth? 2) Is it fair to all concerned? 3) Will it build goodwill & better friendships? 4) Will it be beneficial to all concerned? Student 5-7 minute speeches will be judged by a panel of seven judges including First Selectmen from each town, a Rotarian professional from each club, and the Rotary Assistant Governor. The winner is awarded $150 and continues to compete in the district semi-final. This is the second year for the VRHS contest, but the contest has a long history in the U.S. and other countries.
