Get ready for the 55th Annual Lobster Festival Fundraiser!

Saturday, September 12th

Chester Fairgrounds

Gate Open from 4:00 to 9:00 PM

Music from 5:00-8:00 PM

All dinners will be packaged "to go"; patrons may then opt to dine at home or enjoy their meal at the Fairground with family and friends, live music, and wine, beer, or soft drinks available for purchase. Patrons may also bring their own beverages, appetizers, and dessert treats. "Cherry Pie" will kickoff an exciting evening of live music from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Please choose from the purchase options below. Your dinner of lobster (1.5 lb) or NY strip steak (12 oz) will be ready at the times shown, available in 30 minute time slots from 5:00 to 6:30. Your meal includes corn-on-the-cob, baked potato, coleslaw, fresh dinner roll, butter and sour cream.

If rain or inclement weather precludes on-site dining at the fairground, all meals will be packaged "to go" for you at the appointed time.

Indoor dining will be available on the Fairgrounds in Building #2. Outdoor picnic table seating will be also available on the grounds adjacent to the building. Guests may bring tables and chairs to ensure outdoor seating, especially for groups that wish to dine together. Table decorations and lawn games (such as cornhole) are always welcome and add to the fun! The Fairground gate will open at 4 PM for guests who would like to come early to set up their dining area.

Tickets are limited in number and are available for purchase online only. We will likely sell out, so please make sure to buy before they're gone!

Come and enjoy a great meal and terrific music with friends and family, made even more fun because 100% of the proceeds benefits our community! Proceeds from the Lobsterfest were used to construct the North Quarter Park Rotary Pavilion, along with picnic tables and charcoal grill.  Funds from this event also support local food insecurity programs (Chester Food Pantry, Shoreline Soup Kitchen) and our annual Academic Scholarship Program for Chester’s graduating seniors.

Thank you to Whelen Engineering, Zanardi Oil, Adams Hometown Market, Pattaconk 1850 Bar & Grille, The Wheatmarket, Masonicare Chester Village, and the Boy Scouts of Troop 13 for their contributions and support of this event!
