Hiring them is a great way for Rotary to support a wonderful community organization! They consistently earn rave reviews.

Sue Haralds was hired by the Rotary Club of Vancouver in the 86-87 Rotary Year as Administrative Secretary.
She served in that Role until 1998 when she Retired. She served under 11 presidents during her tenure and carried out her role with grace and commitment.
Shortly after retirement Sue Married Ralph Towsley a long time Rotarian who was widowed a few years earlier. “ Sue and Ralph” were a power couple and a fixture at all Rotary events. Sue attended every Bike A Thon and her beautiful voice led the group in the annual Christmas Caroling.
As Administrative Secretary she was a force to be acknowledged by a new incoming President and Board. She would ask you a question, with a glint in her eye and a sly smile, (knowing the answer herself) but checking to see if you were on your toes.
If you made a new suggestion to her about Rotary her response would be “how is that going to work out?”
Ralph pre deceased Sue in 2020 after 23 great years together.
Sue was a Lifetime Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Vancouver.

Program:
This week, we offered an exclusive leadership event featuring Mindy Tulsi-Ingram, Chief Gift Officer of Green & Green Gifts with Flair, brought together professionals and
business leaders to explore the role of emotional intelligence in driving success.
The event kicked off with lively networking, followed by our Rotary lunch and program. Mindy Tulsi-Ingram then led an interactive workshop, sharing practical strategies to help leaders build trust, inspire teams, and foster stronger workplace relationships.
The Three Building Blocks of Emotional Intelligence in Leadership
Building Trust – Authenticity and consistency form the foundation of
successful leadership.
Igniting Inspiration – Leaders who cultivate emotional intelligence create more motivated and engaged teams.
Consistency – Leadership is shaped by daily habits and intentional actions.
Connectivity – Strong relationships are built through trust and
meaningful interactions.
Community – A thriving workplace culture is rooted in emotional intelligence and shared purpose.
Attendees left with actionable tools to integrate her habit tool kit into their leadership approach.
One participant shared: This workshop provided fresh perspectives on leadership—reminding us that
small, intentional actions can create a lasting impact!
